From April 2021, Reading Golf Club has proudly been occupying its new home at The Caversham – a first-class venue that will put The Caversham, Home of Reading Golf Club on the international golfing map as one of the best golf destinations in the South of England.
Following an extensive clubhouse refurbishment, The Caversham will be offering an enviable range of new leisure and event facilities to golfer and non-golfer alike – a golf-orientated gym and fitness suite, along with a relaxing restaurant and bar, incorporating a beautiful south-west facing terraced area with stunning views, The Caversham is truly a home for the discerning golfer.

Golf at the Caversham
Our Championship Eyston course is soon to be complimented with our planned six-hole academy course and stunning new practice facility which will complete our extensive golf offering and further enhance our renowned junior and beginners coaching programmes. We aim to bring all of the many benefits of golf, health and fitness, mental wellbeing and the life skills that so many of our juniors develop in their time with us, to all who visit us but most of all we want all to enjoy their experience here, golf is fun!
The Eyston Course
Built to USGA standards, our Eyston Course has been fully redesigned over the last two years by the world class Canadian course architect Tom McBroom – his first UK project – and this inland links layout has already attracted very positive feedback and admirers from within the golf industry.
Offering 8 different layouts, cleverly using sets of “combo” tees combining holes from different coloured tees, The Eyston Course uniquely presents a stunning yet playable golf course for all abilities whilst at the same time from the Championship tees it delivers a golfing challenge to test the best in the world, it is a masterpiece in golf course design.
